PopUp Dinner LA is our latest, favorite iteration of the "pop up" concept and an event unlike anything we've seen. Hand Made Events, staffed by culinary veteran Garrett Sathre, foodie Elizabeth Harmon and smartypants Nicole Benjamin, from San Francisco (another of our favorite US Foodie cities) is bringing their uber-successful, multi-city community dining experience to Los Angeles August 25, 2012 at a secret location that's to be revealed the day before the event. Oh, how we love fancy picnics and good mysteries!

Can you think of a better way to bookend Summer, 2012 than with a picnic of up to 4,000 new foodie-fabulous friends? 

LA’s first-ever mass picnic, PopUp Dinner L.A., puts a modern twiston the elegant dining experience; an underground dinner meets flash mob meets outdoor picnic inspired by

similar glamorous affairs which are cropping up all over the globe.  Following successful PopUp Dinners in San Francisco and San Diego where thousands gathered to wine

and dine under the stars,  Hand Made Events is bringing their unique brand of fun, enchantment, and spontaneity to a secret location in Los Angeles, which will be revealed to

revelers just hours before the event (via email). Guests of PopUp Dinner L.A. are required to wear all-white and bring their own tableware, food and beverages that reflect a love

for dining in style. We provide the tables, chairs, entertainment and even the food and beverages for those who would rather purchase pre-ordered dinner baskets curated by a

burgeoning local chef. There is no “right way” to participate in PopUp Dinner L.A., there is only a time, a place, and a group of your friends and family with which to share the

unparalleled communal experience of this magical event. A portion of proceeds will go to Slow Food Los Angeles, a chapter of Slow Food USA, contributing to their Young

Farmers/School Gardens Fund and encouraging healthy food, childhood education and dining together as a community long after the party ends.

WHERE:          It’s a secret (until the day of), but we can tell you that the location is beautiful…and large enough for you and thousands of friends, old and new.

TICKETS:        $28 per person
